travel site/Hawaii

Husband and I planning a trip to Hawaii for 10 - 14 days. The one and only travel agency in the city where I live has closed down. Can anyone recommend an online travel site to book a vacation through? Would you recommend two or three islands for this amount of time?

You could do three islands in that amount of time, but one of the reasons that most people go to Hawaii for is to relax. I would suggest that you limit yourself to two islands. They are all beautiful and each has its own special characteristics. Maui is more touristy with a lot of action, Kauai is more laid back and the Big Island has an active volcano. You should read about each and make your own decision which to choose. As far as online sites, there are so many; Expedia, Travelocity, Orbitz, the airlines, Pleasant Holidays. Try them all and see which gives you the best dea.

www.hotelonsale.com has great hotel prices! Find the one(s) you are interested in first, then go compare their prices.

Mopnmom,

Our family is going to HI for the first time next month. We've virtually made all of our plans based on the great advice we've gotten on this sight.

Good luck with your planning and start with searches here!

I agree, Pleasant Hawaiian Holidays. If doing 10 days definitely only 2 islands Maui and Kauai. You could fit in the Big Island if you decide to go the whole 2 weeks but it may not be as restful as you'd have to island hop. Have fun, the islands are the best of both worlds, mountains and beach all in one!

pleasantholidays.com and classiccustomvaations.com, cc will beat Pleasant's price but you need a travel agent to book.
