Cathy, are you flying into Miami or to Key West? If Miami you really have only two options: You can rent a car and drive down (which I highly recommend if it's your first trip down to the Keys); or take a shuttle flight from Miami to Marathon or Key West. The drive down to Big Pine Key will take about 3 hours, but it's a great ride for the scenery.

There are a couple of shuttles that run from Miami to the Keys. Greyhound runs busses 3x a day, 1-800-410-5397. There was another thread on Keys shuttles I'll pull it up for you.

I couldn't find the thread on transportation for you Cathy. But, I have found another # for you.

Go Tour-Airport Keys Shuttle
1-800-689-3304 (9a-5p daily)

You might also want to check the Keys
website and see if there are alternatives listed. The url is:

Actualy Cathy, their are two shuttle's that operate from Miami to the keys. One website is http://www.floridakeysshuttle.com/ & the other is http://www.courtesyfloridakeys.com/. Hope this makes it easy for you to make a decision on a shuttle. Renting a car & driving to Big Pine Key is a beautiful experience as SSURP said.
