transportation from HNL to Waikiki

Does anyone know the cheapest way to reserve a ride from the airport to the Pacific Monarch?

No need to reserve in advance.

Simply come out of baggage claim at Honolulu airport and cross to the ground transportation island.

There you will find large busses that serve as Waikiki hotel shuttles for approx. $10 per person. They loop around thru all the hotels dropping people off along the way.

Or you can get a taxi for approx. $30 (for 1-4 people).

I believe there is also a city bus available (thebus.org) but am not sure how that would work if you have luggage.

The shuttle runs 24 hours.

You will need to make reservations for the return trip from Waikiki to airport.

Happytraveler~ that's not exactly true according to the website, which says allowable items include:
"Medium-sized suitcase, duffle bag, or small metal bag caddy on wheels"

There was also a phrase about that you had to be able to hold the luggage on your lap or it fit under the seat in front of you or something like that... anyone interested just check out the website.
