Toursaver reservations

I ordered a toursaver and it doesn't ship until Nov. 22nd. I'm worried if I don't make my reservations now for Denali area, I will not get any.
Are the accomadations listed on the toursaver website the ONLY accomadations it has coupons for? If I call one of the hotels now, will they let me use the coupon even though I don't have it in my hand as we speak? Do you think once the toursaver books ship, the accomadations for lodging and tours will go like pancakes?
Thanks.

The TourSaver people told me that it is always hard to make reservations in the Denali area on the specific dates you want to stay, because it is very popular. It is even hard for people without a TourSaver book. But the sooner the better. Mt. McKinley and Denali Park are one of Alaska's most popular tourist destinations. The website listings for the TourSaver are very complete and there are more offers in this year's book than in previous years.
My book has already been shipped, they arrived a few days early apparently and you do need the book in hand to make reservations because each book has a unique book number. However, the hotels I have called have been very helpful with availability dates. The reservation phone numbers for each of the tour operators and hotels are clearly listed on each offer page in the book. You really should have the book in hand to make reservations. It is full of helpful information.

There are few offers where you need the actual book to reserve. You must ALWAYS state you are using a toursaver coupon when you book and the vender will Tell you if you need the book number. If you do, then call back when you get it.

I have used toursaver for years. Rarely are the lodging coupons even a consideration for me. They are most always more costly than B&B's, especially in the Denali Park area.

I would say gsb hasn't been there?? "Denali Park and Mt. McKinley" aren't considered the same area, since actually if you are staying at McKinley-Talkeetna/ Kantishna would be the closest. And it is NOT that hard to get reservations for lodging without a toursaver book, especially if you are looking now. I never have a problem even several months out.

I'm interest in purchasing the toursaver book. Could you tell me if there are any restriction on when you can use the coupon for the Prince Lodges. I also saw were the Holiday Inn in Seward was on the 2005 Toursaver book but it doesn't look like it is available this year. They have it posted on their site under the 2006 toursaver book but it doesn't have any value.
Thanks
Jamie

Email toursaver directly for coupon restrictions and information. There can be more details on the coupons than that are on the web site. I have never found the lodging coupons to be a deal. Always got B&B's cheaper. And especially Princess lodges, way over run with endless buses loading and unloading.

I was able to use my toursaver coupon on McKinley Chalet (Denali). We saved 230.00. But as Budget Queen said we probably could find a cheaper place to stay-but because of convinience,(pick-up @ train) we decided to go here.
In looking @ my coupon for Princess Lodges--Copper River, buy1nt,get1nt free-restrictions,Valid May 20-Sept.16th.Savings of $179.00...Kenai Princess buy1nt,get1nt free-same valid dates as above, savings of $239.00...Mckinley Princess, buy1nt get1nt free Valid May18-Sept18 savings $179.00...Nope, I didn't see anything for HOliday Inn in Seward.
