Torrey and Moab Lodging
We're planning a two week trip in Utah next fall with another couple and have made reservations for most of our nights. We still need to find something for one night in Torrey and two nights in Moab. Would really appreciate any recommendations, especially for something under $100/night.

If you spend a couple of hours at Goblin Valley State Park looking at the hoodoos, you might want to spend a night in Green River. DW and I spent 6 nights at the Robbers Roost motel and covered several National Parks and State Parks from there.

Make sure that you make the hike out to Delicate Arch while you are in Arches NP.

I don't know about the price but I stayed at the BW Canyonlands in Moab. It has just bveen renovated and it's on the main street.
In Toreey I stayed at the BW. It was fine and is the closest motel to Capitol Reef.
Neither is special but comfortable and convenient.

We've stayed in Green River a couple of times. It is about 45 minutes from the NPs, but more reasonable prices. We've used the River Terrace inn which is really a motel but is close to your price point and does an excellent breakfast - eggs to order etc.

Thanks everyone for your recommendations. I think for Torrey we'll probably go with Austin's Chuckwagon, but a friend has passed along someone's recommendation for the Rim Rock Inn, http://www.therimrock.net/ , who also recommends its restaurant.
The BW hotel in Moab wants $180+/night, so that's out. The BW in Torrey wants $101/night. If they are nothing special, we would probably go with something less expensive.
The Robber's Roost looks interesting, but not where we would like to be.
Still looking for recommendations for Moab. The Inca Inn, http://www.incainn.com/ , has a good rate and is highly rated on Trip Advisor. Any thoughts on that one?

We liked our stay at the Rustic Inn in Moab back in Sept. Not fancy but it was about $110/night with a full sized refrigerator/freezer, kitchenette with 2 dbl beds. Clean and quiet with nice location just off the main street. Walkable to everything. Check out their website - good pictures of the rooms. We'd stay there again.

I did like the BW in Torrey for it's proximity to the park and the outdoor pool and hot tub with excellent views. The hot tub was perfect after a long day of hiking and we were the only ones using it so even better! $101 is a great rate.
I've stayed at the BW in Moab, The Hampton Inn and the Holiday Inn Express. All 3 are on the main strip and I'd stay in all 3 again. Close to the park and convenient with free breakfasts (average but free!) and hot tubs/pools.
