First, I second Sandi's approach in petitioning Fodor's. It has gone way too far.

Until this happens, PLEASE DON'T RESPOND AT ALL to the nasty, low taste messages that have become all too frequent here.
You see, the dimwits that write this crap perceive that all the response that they in turn generate has empowered them with a great sense of importance. Since- in all probability- their lives are otherwise dull and insignificant, this has become their way of getting the attention they desparately crave. So to respond to them only fuels others like them to continue the nonsense ...until it goes in circles. Instead let these inane fools flock together-The rest of us will stick to travel.

As far as the people that aren't nearly as viscous, but continue to defend these posts,they too are just as ignorant however. I wish they would take their "freedom for the Web" BS somewhere else. This is a privately funded site that WILL become monitored if abused.

Hey Mom! yes, i am the same Dave and no, i'm not obese, so you can't use that on me...that it's all about my insecurities? And please spare me about the use of my disparaging words. Keep that in context, please! Of course i'm angry about an interesting forum gone to pot!!! My words were used to vent at the perpurtrators, who really deserve the scolding, not me. now, did that suffice? Do you now get the REAL point, MOM(and others)--probably not?

Dave, if you call names, you are no better than the people you dislike, who also call names. Your hostility and poor manners ruined your whole post. More important, though: if this forum is causing you that much stress, you might want to look into some relaxation techniques. The rest of us don't get this worked up.
