TN. Side Smoky MT. restaurants

We are staying in Seiverville and planning mainly nature , outdoor activities.
But what about restaurants? Looking for local food, non touristy, not chains.
Is Seiverville dry? or which towns are?
Thank you

Most of us can help you on the other side but not the Seiverville/ Pigeon Forge side. Check reviews on trip advisor. The last time I was there for a fundraiser by Dolly it was a long stretch of chains.

If you're planning on spending time in the park, then you might want to try stopping in Townsend (the quite side of the Smokies) which is only 7 miles from Cades Cove Loop - the 11 mile scenic drive in the SMokies. Little River BBQ sits right on the river with an outdoor, screened in patio and has great bbq.

If you like craft beer, try Smoky Mountain Brewery in Gatlinburg. They have good pizza and lots of other items on the menu - beer is pretty good too.

If you're main focus is the outdoor/nature experience, you might want to stay closer to the park. We usually stay in Townsend to get away from the crowds, but Gatlinburg is right next to the park with lots of lodging options.

18 miles to this liquor store -
