Do you mean to say that ita should give the concierge $5-10 as Fodors recommends?
BTW, does the concierge get a salary?

Most (not all) concierges get a salaray as well as commision for certain bookings. I usually tip only when they have gone above and beyond (hard to get tickets) or I spend a lot of time using them (multiple bookings, directions, etc).
