Time share in Orlando Myth???
For all of you caming to Orlando. You should know that there are all kinds of discounts available to out-of-state visitors. One way is to walk around Internation Dr. and purchase discounted tickets, another way is using veterans and AAA discounts. Maybe, the most misunderstood way is thru time share promotions. Most people do not know but everybody have the rigth to tour as many resorts as they like (believe me, there are hundreds of resorts in Orlando) and cash in free tickets and/or up to %70 discounts on accommodations. This could save you hundreds of $$, and even expose people to beautiful places that are their onw attractions by them selves. Some have their own themes, others have native wildlife throughout their property. Some are close to Disney, others are close to Universal Studios while others are close to absolutly nowhere.
My point is, do not let the "myths" scare you away and at least visit one of the many Resorts Orlando has to offer. Disney Word becames very affortable after you get a few free tickets. And who knows, one of these days you migth actually find "THE" one for you. I Began my search at www.theorlandowebsite.com and went from there. Then, I checked out many of Disney's sites, they also have nice places although Disney doesn't need to give any free tickets of course. Other great site is www.resortstogo.com they have a lot of options and types of Resorts to choose from and they give tickets too.
Anyway, I would like to hear as many opinions as you guys could give me.
Thank you all

In case anyone sees any truth in this post please be advised that many (I will not say ALL) of these places sell reused tickets e.g. a 4 day ticket that only has been used for 2 days... these are not legal and if caught Disney, Universal, Sea World ect will not let you into the park, even if you are an innocent tourist

Jocko,
You are sooooo right. They are being investigated for fraud. Many complaints have been filed with the Better Business Bureau, and they have passed along all of their information to the proper authorities. Both websites (www.theorlandowebsite.com and www.resortstogo.com) have taken advantage of many people, they are a money-making, illegal SCAM. WATCH OUT!!
