Tillicum Island Tour Attraction (Tillicum Excursion)

Hi,

I have noticed that for the time being the Tillicum Excursion attraction is unavailable (COVID).
I wondered whether visitors just visit the island independently - if so, is it worth the visit?

Thanks

With the tours canceled, the only way to reach Blake Island is by private boat. The "worth it" question is always impossible, but there are a number of other ways to have a nice "island experience" from Seattle. When are you coming and for how long?

Yes, you can get to Blake Island by Argosy. They have a fast ferry that goes. Check out the Argosy and you will find the fast ferry and can book through there. Yes, people do visit the island even without the excursion. There are numerous trails and you can kayak. You can also camp, but my guess is that is mostly for us locals since you have to bring everything except water with you and you have to pack out all of your garbage.
