Tijuana border delays?
Anyone have current border crossing experience? I'm trying to decide whether to hit the border earning on a Monday morning or late on Sunday afternoon. In terms of waiting, is either worse than the other?

Are you crossing by foot or auto? Sundays are generally the worst. Our friends who have a house in Baja try to come home on Mondays. The wait coming back to the US is definitely worse than going into Mexico.
If you are traveling by auto, coming from the Mexico to US side, I would strongly recommend crossing at Otay Mesa vs. San Ysidro. It took us 2.5 hours crossing at San Ysidro on a Sunday aft. last month.

Sunday afternoons are by far the worse - at either crossing. However, Monday mornings can be not so much fun either at San Ysidro.
I would strongly second Ivk's advice. Avoid San Ysidro and go to Otay Mesa. Not that much farther out of the way, and so much easier going across.
Of course, this all depends on which way you are going - into Mexico or into the US?
