Three hours in Phoenix
Hi fodorites-
This is one of those "lack of planning on my part does not constitue an emergency on your part" posts, and I'd appreciate your advice! I fly into Phoenix tomorrow at 9am and have about a three hour block of time before I have to be anywhere, and a rental car. Where should I go? Are galleries open that early? I do enjoy art. I also could use a pair of cowboy boots, and wouldn't mind shopping. Finally, if the weather is nice, I wouldn't mind just taking a scenic drive. (Guess it's time to check the weather, eh?!) What do you think? Thanks-
Laura

Ok, I stayed there a few wks ago at Point South so I know where that is. This is what I would do: go to the Wild Horse Pass spa and resort (just a few miles further out 10E) and walk their lovely grounds, shop in their shops, and definitely go to their absolutely incredible Aji spa for a treatment. It is wonderful- Aji ranks way up there in my book. And you'd be close to Pointe South. You'll end up wishing you were staying at Wild Horse, but at least you'd get a bit of it.
