theme park tickets

Our family are travelling to Florida from the UK at the end of May can anyone advise me if it is cheaper to buy the tickets before we travel , or wait until we arrive in Florida.
Also if anyone has any info on how crowded it is in May \ June and what the weather is like i would be grateful
many thanks
steve

Stephen, not sure about ticket prices, but the weather will unbearably hot and humid. You may want to consider spending more days in Water Parks therefore. Also the Universal Studios ticket kiosks have very long lines (15-30 minute wait). Disney ticket kiosks are much quicker though. Enjoy.

buy before you go ask your travel agent for a company called seligo (they might have a web site )the money you save buying in the us is so little, esp if the exchange rate changes you dont have to wait in a q and also some of the flex or hopper passes are only available over here. enjoy florida

Not directly related to your question but...
If money is not an issue, see Cirque du Soleil (La Nouba) in downtown disney. I think its around $70 US/ticket. You gonna love it !!! Buy the tickets in advance to get good seats.

Don't let anyone discourage you - we went to Universal during July & found the heat manageable. Universal has misters & most of their lines end up inside. We also found Sea World easily doable in the heat as most of the shows have roofs that keep you in the shade. As for Disney, some rides will be hot, saev things like Space Mountain & Pirates of the Carribean (inside) when you need a break. Sorry I can't help you with the tickets.

Hi Stephen...there's a website at www.5stepstoflorida.co.uk that sells Orlando theme park tickets at discounted rates...they also sell a 4 and 5 day flex park ticket that gives you unlimited access to a few of the parks for 14 consecutive days...the savings are enough to add up to a few meals during your stay...definitely worth it...buying tickets ahead of time will save you time later on because sometimes the lines are long...it is hot in Florida in May and June, but I've been there in August also and here are some tips to (try) and keep cool..wear light colors in cotton, wear shorts and tank tops, definitely skip denim, bring your own bottled water because it is expensive in the park...try to avoid foods high in sugar because it will cause a slump...fresh fruit is a good boost...don't forget the sunscreen and a hat or visor...also, it's not unusual for it to rain...it only lasts a few minutes...people still keep going and it feels good...some people buy plastic ponchos, but because of the heat they will stick to your body and make you feel worse.

I have bought tickets before and after and I think before is better. Our second trip we stood on a long line because the first time we went to Disney we noticed it wasn't too long. The third time we let ourselves get talked into a time share lecture for free one day tickets and that wasn't worth it either. International Drive has many little stands where these people work from. Avoid them.

There is a link specifically for UK visitors to MCO and ALL the parks. Go to www.disboards.com.

Start searching Ebay for Cirque du Soleil La Nouba tickets - I've gone twice and never paid more than half the full price.
