Theatremonkey equivalent for Broadway theatres?

Just wondered if there was an equivalent of www.theatremonkey.com showing the best value theatre seats on Broadway or are we just spoilt in London?

www.playbill.com, www.broadwaybox.com, www.theatermania.com are some of those available. Just sign up, then you'll receive e-mails with discounts and codes, or you can check the websites for current specials.

Note that the discounts vary, and the available seats vary. Sometimes the prices will be a bit lower on one, but better seats are available with another for your date(s).

There is also the TKTS booth (there's one at Times Square and one at South Street Seaport) where you can queue for same day seats. See http://www.tdf.org/index_default.html for details.

It's usually better to purchase tickets ahead of time to ensure the best seats for shows available. You could get lucky at the TKTS booth, or you could wait in a long line only to find that all the musicals are sold out. You just never know.

Thanks for the links - but I probably should have explained what Theatremonkey was since it isn't really a discount site.

Theatremonkey provides seating plans & opinions on the actual seats in the West End Theatres - eg what the leg room is like, if the view is restricted etc. For me it is an invaluable tool to pinpoint the really good seats

gives youlets you know which individual seats are the best both in terms of value & comfort.
