Razzle, I read the posts, and there is one I don't understand:

hello to all out there in sf, you all posted to my q's a week ago about my trip in a week with my daughter who's returning from china. hope you all are ok... r u at all concerned about any more quakes? btw, my daughter has endured 3 typhoons and 2 quakes while in China, i'm a little worried bout bringin her back to the States - maybe it's her......

I think the person has been painting walls and was taking down painter's masking tape. You use it to protect the area directly next to what you are painting so said area doesn't get painted. Say you are painting your walls
yellow, but what the door trim to remain white, so you "mask"the trim.

razz, that's ok, i get the hurricane q's all the time. i'm in south fla. we've got the system down pat here... but it still makes us "jump"
