Fellow Elegant 8, we are back! Arrived this morning. Had a great trip but am jetlagged and crazy trying to catch up.

Great to hear from everyone! We are having a terrible time with the jetlag for some reason. Slept 14-16 hours Friday night but had a hard time sleeping last night.

Will work on a trip report at some point in the near future.

Looking forward to seeing everyone....

withkids: WELCOME BACK!

We'll do another GTG soon! Need to catch up and hear EVERYTHING that has happened to you and your family on this trip!

S'hainese and I had another mini-GTG back at the Shanghai House and we picked out more good dishes to share with everyone!

Of course, if you need Italian or French after so many weeks of Chinese food, we'll go to another restaurant! Maybe even a good old-fashioned American steak!

Again, welcome back! And looking forward to seeing you again - soon!

withkids: In dealing with jet lag coming back to the U.S., try to get back to your regular schedule as quickly as possible. Sleeping 15 hours Friday night can make you sleepless for the next few nights and feel zombie-like in the daytime.

To: ALL How about another GTG late July or in August? Mels probably can't make it over again, how's Paula and roslaire's travel schedules? What about others' summer plans? Can someone else please take over for the next GTG, or start another thread? I'll have trouble typing fast from 7/9 to about 7/18 due to a procedure for a finger, not a big deal.
