THANKSGIVING IN BOSTON OR CAPE COD

My son and I will be in Boston on Thanksgiving Day and would like to have the traditional Thanksgiving Dinner in Boston or somewhere on Cape Cod. We are looking for an informal setting with great food and great atmosphere. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thankyou

Plimouth Plantation does "authentic" and "Victorian" TDay dinners, I believe. If you're interested, you should make reservations now. Check out their website.

It's a slight hike from Boston, but you might seriously consider something at Sturbridge Village. For closer, perhaps the Wayside Inn in Wayland/Sudbury area will be doing a traditional dinner.

For Longfellow's Wayside Inn: http://www.wayside.org/

You can't get more atmosphere than this.

The Daniel Webster Inn in Sandwich village has lovely colonial charm with wonderful food. Since it is an inn, you might consider an overnight stay. Sandwich is about 90 minutes from Boston. As suggested by others, The Wayside Inn is fantastic if you prefer to drive out to a suburban community west of Boston. It has a grist mill across the street, which is very picturesque. The inn has lots of history and on-site rooms to view furnished colonial style.
