Boston and the Cape
We are on a tight budget, but would like to spend 2-3 nights in the Boston/Cape Cod area this month (May). The plan is to spend one night at a Boston hotel, see a museum, dine in the city, then the next day drive to the cape and spend 2 nights at a hotel on the cape out near Wellfleet or Ptown. Looking for suggestions for hotels in or near Boston that are reasonably priced, under $100 would be ideal, out of the city near T stop ok. Also any suggestions for a cape hotel appreciated, we will probably go the weekend before memorial day to avoid the crowds and holiday prices.
Thanks

That hotel is near a station on the Commuter Rail, not on the subway, so the transport wil be more costly and less frequent than if you stay at a hotel in Braintree or Quincy that has subway-station access. And Braintree or Quincy are south of Boston and would give you a head start going to the Cape.

There is a Holiday Inn at the Riverside T station....end of the Green line. It is about a 30 minute ride into the city and gives you easy access to 95 S for your drive to the Cape the next day!
Sorry....I am not familiar with Cape hotels in that area.
