Thanksgiving dinner in Philly/Valley Forge

Hi, all. We will be in PA. visiting family this Thanksgiving and want to go out for dinner that day. We were thinking of visiting Valley Forge and then a nice restaurant for Thanks. dinner. Anyone have any suggestions? A place with a historical ambience would be nice since we don't get that much in CA.!!! Thanks!!

I would say take a side trip, 20 minutes from Valley Forge and eat at the William Penn Inn in Gwynedd.

Very historic and a great place to eat especially for Thanksgiving.

If you do decide to eat here make reservations now!

Good luck!

The Kennedy Supplee Mansion Restaurant is right across the street from Valley Forge Park and is very nice.
Up the road about ten minutes is Twin Bays which is a lovely BYOB restaurant in Phoenixville.

Another place I would recommend is the Chadds Ford Inn.

Try the Mendenhall Inn in Chadds Ford. It's about a 25 minute drive, but the food is worth it.
