Thanksgiving Dining

I posted awhile back about dining in Vegas on Thanksgiving and was told to do a search. I tried that but could not get any info. Does anyone have suggestions on websites or has anyone been in Vegas on Thanksgiving? Open to all suggestions.
Thanks.

What exactly would you like to know about Thanksgiving in Las Vegas?

We eat turkey and watch football like everyone else!

Seriously though, it is a busy, busy weekend so be prepared for the crowds. Don't wait to book a room. They won't get cheaper as Thanksgiving gets closer. They'll only start to sell out.

Many of the better restaurants will have a price fixe menu with sumptuous Thanksgiving meals. Call the hotel you are staying at and ask to be connected with one ore more of their gourmet restaurants for more information. They should be able to tell you what's on the menu by now.

Weather will be mild during the day and chilly enough for a light jacket and/or sweater at night if you plan to be outdoors. We always grill the turkey and spend the day outside visiting with friends while the turkey cooks, so if all is normal, it should be nice weather as usual this year.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Actually I assumed most everyone would have turkey at Thanksgiving but I was looking for input on restaurants serving dinner there, experiences and feedback on good place to go for dinner. I have already booked the Aladdin Hotel. I will call the restaurants there and see if they have a set menu or not. I was in Vegas 3 years ago mid-November and found the weather to be comfortable more so since I am from Boston area. Thanks for any help.+

anncat71 - we are also going to Vegas for Thanksgiving and have booked a table at Drai's. I have emailed the restaurant to ask if they are planning a special menu and they replied saying they would let me know when they have posted it. I would think most restaurants would serve specials and would be happy to let you know. Keep us posted, because I am just as curious!

Thanks for getting back to me. We are staying at the Aladdin so I will call there restaurant to check them out also. Just don't want to wait too long to book since I have heard it is very busy there at Thanksgiving which surprised me. This is new to us - to be away from home on Thanksgiving.
