Thanks from Teens in Atlanta!

I got great advice here for taking teens to last weekend's conference at the Georgia Dome.

On Saturday, a very low key day at the conference with gorgeous weather in Atlanta, we toured for several hours. Used our MARTA passes to go to Varsity for lunch-what a hoot! Walked to Georgia Tech and they were playing Clemson for homecoming. Saw the floats, the band, the players walk to the stadium.

Hopped on the MARTA and went to Lenox for 2 hours. Very nice mall-and I don't usually like malls.Kids loved it.

Back on the MARTA to see Underground Atlanta and World of Coke.

Big tour, short time, lots of fun.Great suggestions from all of you. We really enjoyed our stay in Atlanta.

I'm glad the trip went well. Thanks for giving a trip report.

Varsity is an Atlanta institution! "Whaddayahave, whaddayahave". Nipsy Russell was discovered there as a carhop.

Lenox is cool too - and I'm not a fan of malls either.

Glad you had safe - and enjoyable - travels with your teens!

I was talking to some folks yesterday and realized that none of us had mentioned Atlantic Station. The Regal 16 is open and lots of stores and restaurants - with more to open soon.

This new development may be a good choice in the future for a similar trip.
