Oh wow, that foods looks so good I want to go right now! That is a definite keeper westtexas. The photo of the chili did me in. That would be great after a long day of driving.

Here are some ideas that we have come up with:

Chandor Gardens
The Heard Museum/Sanctuary
Fort Worth Botanic Garden
Matthews Prairie Reserve
and the Fort Worth Herd sounded interesting to see if we were in the area. Not necessarily something we'd drive out of our way for though.

Any reviews of these places would be appreciated.

Of these you've listed, I've only been to the FW Botanic Garden. It is very nice, esp the Japanese Garden. However, I was there in early summer. Not sure how nice it will be for Feb!

BTW, it can be quite cold and chilly in DFW in Feb, so it might not be that much fun to be out in the cold at the garden.
