Hey, Rudy I have a new method. If it doesn't post within about 10 to 15 seconds, I don't think it will and eventually will just disappear. If I hit back, the message is gone. So now I just sit and keep clicking "post my reply". Usually after 25 or 30 times it will post. I just don't wait over 15 seconds between clicks for fear of losing it.

Seems like a lot of work and effort to post on a travel website, right? Guess my addiction is worse than I thought. I've contacted Fodors asking if they know what this problem is, but no reply so far. At least I haven't been getting caught in the "re-register" or "please confirm your password" loops like a couple days ago.

OK, here I go again clicking for awhile.

There are definitely still bugs. No posts between 4:33 and 5:30 approximately, though I tried many times.

I'm in the habit of Select All, Copy, before clicking on Post My Message. I HATE when is disappears!

Patrick,

I was almost ready to leave this site because of the problems I'd been having. When I finally reached the point where I was even able to log in, I couldn't post. Like you, I kept waiting, then clicking, then waiting. I'm not sure I'll be posting here if this keeps up.

Let's see if this one works...

When my post takes too long to post, which it always does these days, I don't wait too long--maybe 10 seconds--then click STOP. My text hasn't been lost yet. Then I click POST MY REPLY again, and it goes through. Who knows why this works--in the old days, it would have resulted in a dreaded double post.
