Temperature at Phantom Ranch
I will be hiking down to Phantom Ranch on April 13th. Can anyone provide insight as to what possible average night and day temps might be there at the bottom of the Canyon? I want to make sure I have enough, but not too much clothing.

AVERAGE high and low for "inner gorge" (Phantom Ranch ranger station) is listed as 82-56 F.
EXTREME high and low (from another site) are 100 F and 40 F.

"Average" temperatures won't be much help, as there is a lot of variability on either side, and you could face one of the extremes.
We have been there twice around April 10; the first time it reached 92 during the day and dropped to 58 at night. The next time the high only reached 82, and it dropped to 45 at night. I never even put on the shorts I brought. It snowed at the rim the next day as we hiked out.
What you should do is check the weather forecast before you pack for your hike. I believe they post it at the Bright Angel Transpportation Desk (in BA Lodge) and other places as well. We found it to be very accurate. Based on the forecast, we were well prepared for the cold we faced on that second hike (it was very cold and windy on the hike down).
In any case, carry a lightweight wind- and waterproof jacket. And layers for the rest.

Will you be camping or staying in a cabin/bunkhouse? When we were there March 17th it was 88 or 90 that afternoon. The evening was cool, but the bunkhouse stayed hot until about 2 am; after that it cooled down but to the point of being comfortable, not cold.
