You definately have me reconsidering "here today..." We went sunrise on our first visit to Maui, a lifetime ago...my husband got a chunk of lava in his eye, so I watched the sunrise as he rested and stayed warm in the car. I now think perhaps we were there during one of those mediocre sunrises where nothing magical happens except the lava leaving my husbands eye when I threatened a hospital - he still thinks it was the change in altitude, which really is true, but.....perhaps a Christmas morning bike trip is in order....mahalo
