teenagers allowed in bellagio?

Would like to go back to Las Vegas and stay at the Bellagio, last time i went i remember my daughter wasnt even allowed into anywhere on the property, not even in the stores. Although I don't think there is anything wrong with that. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE AGE IS WHERE THEY CAN START TO STAY HERE????My daughter is a mature 16 now.

This sounds weird to me. What possible (legal) grounds could a hotel use to keep children out of an area like a store?

Yes, we all understand the ban on children in casinos -- there's a legal age limit involved. But stores? I kiie thinking there's some sort of misunderstanding here.

Solution: Why not call the Bellagio and ask them their policy?

From what I understand, children are not permitted in the complex unless they are eating or staying there with their families...or going to "O". When we went last year there was security at entrances and they approached us...I just said that we wanted to go buy tickets for the show...they were fine with that and didn't bother us again.

My brother works as a bellman at the Bellagio. Makes pretty good money too, I guess I should have skipped Med school. He claims that they have had problems with teens causing trouble in the common areas. Gangs were running thru and snatching purses, cursing and generally causing trouble. In the suit crazy times of "profiling", management found it easier to restrict all teens rather than causing a racial incident. Sad but true. If your daughter is with you, there should not be a problem.

Kids are allowed in non-casino areas if with parents who are guests.

Thank you for all the replies. Jim, there is no misunderstanding, I was there about 2 years ago with my daughter and I had just walked in the door and walked a little bit and we started to go into a store and we were approached that (I believe they said, this is what im not sure)that no one under 18 allowed , EVEN WITH PARENT (S)! I know its unbelievable. But hopefully we'll be able to go again one day soon.
