Uh, not quite, The Super Homestead exemption has to be approved by 60% of voters on the 1/29 ballot. It is currently considered unlikely to pass. So don't count those chicks yet.

hills27, thanks for the source. I do agree that the super exemption is not likely to pass. If it does, it will decimate the already TERRIBLE public schools in Florida. So either way, it's not good news for someone moving here (either face high property taxes with poor public schools or mid-range property taxes with even worse schools).
