Swimable beach close to Puamana condos?

I just read that the beach area in front of the Puamana condos isn't swimable. bummer! Is there a nice, swimable beach close by? (walking distance????)

I guess swimmable is subjective. I have swam many times at Puamana Beach Park. The beach is narrow, but certainly swimmable.

The English Channel is also "swimmable" but most people choose not to do it.

There is nothing subjective about "swimmable". It means "capable of being swum". That means if one person can swim it then it is swimmable. However, most people can't swim it in comfort so that means that it is a very poor beach.

To answer your question, there are no good beaches within walking distance.

Rusty:
Does that make us likeable, if only our mothers like us?

My mother is passed on, though I had the pleasure of knowing who she was.

AuntieMaria- On Maui, close to Lahaina.

Is it really not clear what I mean by a "swimable beach"???

It's clear to me, but perhaps you had better spell it out for others.

Yes, there is a beach nearby about 2 blocks down Front Street. Look for the "beach public access" path sign. The path (between two houses) will take you to the beach.
