That's our style, too, nanabee. Especially with a 5-year-old, it's nice not to travel around and change lodging too often.

Suze, yes, SW also flies into MHT which is only an hour or so from the VT border.

Southwest has a map on their website that shows all their routes. I visit my sister in SE Vermont or to go skiing at Killington, etc. and fly Southwest into either Albany NY or Hartford CT, then rent a car. Both are not far. I fly into Albany if I want to go to Killington, Stowe is up there also.
