Suggestions for long term Kauai car rental please
Wow! As I should have guessed from reading comments, car rental rates have really gone up! Have been renting cars on Kauai for a long time but this year we're going in early Dec for 3 months (YES so lucky to visit the 'hellhole' for so long) but yikes getting much higher car rental prices this year even with memberships #s and coupons. Any suggestions for renting long term and for lowering costs?

Thanks Sylvia for the ttt!
Had been happy with Costco, AAA etc rate codes, coupons, specials in the past but as I had never booked for 3 months before, I hoped the Kauai regulars knew some reasonably priced options. Online, former faves were highest priced and some wholesalers won't book vehicles long term nor for late arrival. We arrive on late Alaska nonstop flight from Sea-Tac.

Deb, would not have thought of that, but my DH would NEVER relax! What if it didn't sell?
Years ago for a summer in France we used the Renault Eurodrive lease available to foreign visitors-get a new car, saves taxes, lower cost, works well for longer term. But it is technically a "purchase-repurchase" plan and after signing all their official documents, the fear of Renault not buying it back at the end never really left him!
Appreciated another idea however! Thanks.
