Subway Help NYC

I have been studying the subway map trying to get ready for my late December trip to NY but am still confused. What station and train would I take to go from Little Italy to W. 4th St. in Greenwich Village.

You don't need the subway. It's a short walk.

How far is the walk and what streets would be the best way to walk there?

Thanks.

If you go to any of the mapping sites and put in the exact intersections you want you can have a detailed map. If you zoom out a little you can get a basic map of the downtown areas - or even the area in seveal sections.

Just walk north on Mulberry St. (the "main drag" in Little Italy"). Mulberry turns into Lafayette Street. Just walk straight up to W. 4th St. and make a left onto W. 4th. Won't take you long.

The B or D from Grand Street is one option.

I don't know where you're headed to in the Village, but the N,R form Canal street to 8th st brings you ight to the village area too.

It's maybe a 15 minute walk, so not too bad at all. I've walked it many, many times.
