Stuck in DC with luggage...lockers at Union Station??
Some changes have taken place since DD and I planned my trip to DC to see her. Security gate key at new apartment cannot be duplicated and no one's around to let me in so looks like I'm stuck for about 4 hrs before she's able to meet me. I'm very familiar with DC and quite comfortable on my own. BUT I'm not thrilled about lugging bags.
So, are lockers available at Union Station...for non-train riders? I'm flying in but can easily Metro from DCA to Union Station if lockers are a possibility.
If not, any other ideas?
Thanks in advance!!

Buy a lock box (aka lock safe) at home depot or a hardware store for aobut $33. Have her lock it on a fence and put the key inside. They are what realtors in many parts of the country use and are very secure. After this trip, take it home and use it for your spare keys.

I would also like to recommend that when you retrieve your luggage, you pick up a few cannolis from Vaccaro's for you and your daughter to enjoy for dessert at home. Their cannoli cream is heavenly. I always make a stop there when I'm at Union Station!
