STL Bucket List - College Student
As a STL native, I want my daughter to experience everything there is to love about STL when she spends Summer 2013 in my hometown.
Suggestions for the STL Bucket List?
Muni...
Cards' Game...
Paddle Boats Forest Park...
Haven't lived there since 1982 --- HELP?
???

Not knowing how old your daughter is and what her interests are, I will just throw out a few suggestions of things I've liked when I've visited:
City Museum
Blueberry Hill
The Fabulous Fox
Central West End
Cathedral Basilica
The Hill
Ted Drewes (multiple visits)
The Arboretum
Historic St. Charles, maybe (I didn't like it very much)
Black Madonna Shrine

There are many festivals too enjoy in Forest Park, Shaw Park in Clayton.
The Zoo has free concerts on Friday night with cocktails etc.
The History Museum has free concerts on Tues night
Shaw's Garden- Botanical Garden - also free concerts not to mention the award winning garden.
How old is she? College, post college?
What kinds of things does she like? What kind of food

Thanks, Everyone! I've been traveling so I apologize for the delay in responding to your great suggestions.
Just moved her out of college on Friday and her summer job started today.
I have sent her list of all local concerts in the park/places to play tennis, etc.
She will be a Junior in the fall so she's 20 years old...
I am familiar with the Botanic Garden events but didn't know about the Zoo. Didn't know about the History Museum, either, and that's so close to where she's living! Thanks!
She is living in Clayton so she has info on Thursdays in the Park, The Center, etc.
Took her to Soulard over Easter so she knows a bit about that spot.
She is working full-time but I really want to give her options so once she has settled into a routine she can get all over the city and really appreciate all the great neighborhoods!
STL is a great town!
She loves to try all different cuisines - someone told her there is a great sushi place Clayton so I know that's on her list.
I really appreciate all the input. I think she will have a great summer in STL!
