Thanks for the two "new to me" theatre sites, exiledprincess. I've now found two choices (both critics' choices). Which might be the better production?
Two Trains Running by Pegasus Players at Truman College or Echoes of Another Man at Stage Left Theatre.
By the way -- we're in Chicago October 26 to November 2. Unfortunately several good choices close before then, and the Shakespeare choices at Navy Pier don't entice - seen way too many times unless there was a compelling reason to see one of these productions.

Patrick, thanks for reminding me on the dates.
Re the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, I was referring to the international productions which will be occurring in November. The venue is lovely and every World Stage (international) production I've attended there has been top-notch. But, unfortunately, you'll already be gone when they arrive.
I haven't seen either of those two theatre productions (yet) - calendar's been pretty full lately...But, personally, if I had to choose one, I'd lean towards "Echos of Another Man" because of the intriguing premise and fine playwright (check her bio). However, with that being said, it appears that the Pegasus production is excellent.
Patrick, just a note: Metromix = Chicago Tribune. If you want another website, I'd check out the Suntimes online as well. And Chicago has its own Time Out now, but I'm not sure what you could get online from them.
Let me know which you decide on, I'll be happy to recommend some dining options for you, if you so desire.
