St. Simon, Georgia....
In mid February, would we find comfortable outside sunny days? Does this area support 2-3 days of fun/ interesting tourist attractions?
Is there a particular area where we should stay to be close to most activities?
Any particular hotel? (breakfast included)
Thanks so much!!!

Forgot to add: I've stayed at King and Prince, and at Sea Island (adjacent to St Simons). KIng and Prince is the less expensive of the two but quite lovely. Since this is off season, you could discuss breakfast included; I think they would offer this type of rate. Breakfast there is quite good.
Sea Island is another ball game, entirely; I would recommend staying there if you wish to do the on-site activities, of which there are many. One of the classic hotels of the South, although quite different now since they expanded.
Jekyll Island is nearby, and has lots of scenic charm, and a historic hotel. Great for biking, and relaxing, beach walks, boat rides, birding, etc, as is Sea Island, above.
With a big, big budget, The Lodge at Little St Simons.
Those islands are not as well located as others to tour nearby cities such as Beaufort and Savannah. But if you want to tour locally, The Golden Isles of Georgia are one of the most beautiful areas of the country, in my opinion. Dreamy. Just to watch the marshes in that sublime light.

Depends on what sights you are interested in during your stay.

A big, big, budget would be Cumberland Island - 1 choice on the island for hotel and must use the ferry so limited coming and going. But if I were in the area I would go to Cumberland 1 or 2 nights just for the unique experience. It is where JFK Jr got married. The Park Service began buying up the island a long time ago but everyone made their own deal. For instance, I think the family owning the Coca Cola spread on the island tied their turnover to the service to the youngest member of the clan. So every year, more of the island becomes The National Park Service.
If you have ever wanted to be the only one on the beach, this is a likely place for that to happen.

.The hotel on Cumberland Island is Greyfield Inn. It is a destinaation of it's own for the largest southernmost of the Golden Isles. I saw an alligator on the beach there and it is famous for it's feral horses. Awesome shells also.
Many go there as a day trip. Google Cumberland (it is a Golden Isle but when I went to the link provided above, it was not included.)
