After being in DC and Williamsburg, we plan to spend 3 days in st. Michaels or Easton in early May and then fly out of Baltimore.
we wld like to take nice walks, bike and be in a beautiful/charming location.
Do you recommend EAston or St. Michaels? and where to stay? we'd love to have water views and wld like a quiet B&B.
we looks into Wades Point--but there are very mixed reviews and i did not know if it is too isolated.
the harbor inn/marina in st michaels is on the water--no charm but looks ok.

I have been to both, though I am by no means an expert on either.
You are not going to find enough to do in either of them to occupy yourself for three days unless you are looking to spend a lot of time in a rocking chair, but you can tour either one from the other and visit Oxford and Tilghman's Island as well, two very different places.
I would choose St Michaels because I like to be on the water.

If you are coming from Williamsburg, I second the recommendation for Chincoteague, especially since you want bike around. You can rent bikes in town and ride over the bridge to Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge where there are miles of bike trails. Riding through town is fun too. Chincoteague is a cute summer vacation town. If you are continuing on to St Michaels from there, take the Oxford-Bellevue ferry from Oxford across the Tred-Avon River for a pretty drive.
