Richard,
Do you still need Zion/Bryce hiking recos? If so, let me know the duration and intensity and I can give you my list in various ranges.

Thanks J62; We walked down from the rim in Bryce. Such a fun day. Once we got down to the bottom and started back up, I had breathing difficulties.

Used my daughters inhaler and I could have run back up the trail.

Did not consider either trails difficult, but not sure of the level of difficulty. However, they were not for the casual walker.

Good walking in Zion, but Bryce was our favorite.

Cedar Breaks is awesome too. It is at a very high elevation and one late April we wanted to stop there between Parowan an Bryce and there was about 6 feet of snow on the road in to it, bummer.

Visiting in addition to Brigham Young's winter home:
Very historic home in Santa Clara near St. G.

Slightly east of St. George

By Mormon tradition, you can not enter their temple unless you are a Mormon. HOWEVER, I strongly suggest visiting their Tabernacle.

Touring Zion and Bryce
Suggest this travel book designed for driving, etc. It is both in Kindle and paper book format. Amazon discounts the paper version.
