I love JAX airport there is no way I would do Orlando to get to St. Augustine. I would spend the extra $$$.

Thanks again, everyone... I just booked our tickets. Chicago to Jacksonville for $245 apiece, with great arrival and departure times--not bad! We ended up doing one stop in Atlanta, but they're short layovers, so overall I'm pleased. (And we're not flying United, thank goodness--no small feat here in Chicago!)
