South Jersey to JFK Shuttle?
We got a really good price for a flight to Ireland from JFK (though we live near Philly). Now we are kind of dreading that drive to NY. I called a couple of limo companies and they want about $560 round trip to JFK from South Jersey. I can't find any kind of shuttle service to JFK. Any ideas? Thanks...

Thanks everyone, I went to that Olympic Airport shuttle, and the closest stop is about an hour away (we are in Gloucester County), but it is about $150 cheaper than a limo from our house. I didn't even think about renting a car. That's a great idea too. I'm looking into that. It sounds like it will be even cheaper than driving our own car and parking there.
Thanks!

Yes, it depends on how low your trip is and the cost of one-way rentals. Good luck. If you are going with Olympic Airport shuttle, allow extra time as they tend to be late, and/or have to pick up other passengers.

OK, I booked the rental car, and with taxes etc... it is $197 (only $60 to go from our town to JFK, but $137 to go from JFK to home). It would cost us $135 to park long term, so it's not cheaper. But then we don't have to worry about anything happening to our car in the parking lot... Thanks again!

The car rental sounds like a good idea.
You might check with more limo companies. We do RT to JFK with a limo service in PA for about half of the amount you were quoted. We have driven in many places but I would prefer to have a professional deal with the traffic around JFK.

I know, I would prefer a limo or shuttle. I got 5 quotes and none were under $500. A friend of mine said she took a shuttle from Cherry Hill and it was inexpensive, but she can't remember the name of the company
That's why I posted the message, but I haven't really heard about any cheap shuttles. The Olympic Airporter that someone mentioned was $456 round trip for a shuttle (more for a private car), but we would have to get a ride to Cherry Hill and back.

If you can get someone to give you a ride to Lambertville or thereabouts, you can take the Transbridge Bus to JFK:

About $35 per person each way. I've used them numerous times to get from SE Pennsylvania north of Philly to get to Newark Airport but never to JFK. The buses are comfortable and usually not crowded in my experience.
