The old fashion telephone is not going to happen if the Plumeria or other Inns aren't even located in the yellow pages. Although I appreciate everyones suggestions, I feel as if I'm being hyped up for something that's not there. What's wrong with using the web to get all the information? Afterall, I'm not going to BLINDLY book something I have never seen and I WOULD like to create an itinerary. Can't do that if I can't find half the places mentioned. Sorry, but I'm frustrated.

NeedaBreak, time for a confession.
There is no Valencia Beach. There is no Turtle Beach nor a Plumeria B&B with oceanfront rooms at ridiculously low rates and Winslow Homer watercolors on the walls. The Valencia House does not serve all-you-can-eat stone crabs for $12.95 because there is no Valencia House. The Lighthouse Cafe does not serve Schwarzwaelder Kirschtorte with a mountain of whipped cream on top because it is the figment of someone's imagination.
Equally sad, The Driftwood does not exist, though I wish it did, because it sounds like the kind of place where Don Henley would jam with the house band.
Perhaps it was the tone of your post -- "nothing seedy", "no bums... an eye sore, ya know?" -- that sparked the idea of creating, just for you, the perfect getaway.
I wish you the best of breaks from your wedding planning and hope you can find a place in Florida that at least comes close to your dream getaway.
