Road trip and taking 31 to Indy and then 65 through Louisville and beyond to Nashville. Will have two children (ages 11 and 9 - boy/girl). Any suggestions on sites to see along the way? Won't have much time to spend but thought at least one attraction would be good for a stopover. Also, will have a day in Nashville. Suggestions involving the children? Thanks for help. We just spent a week in Kentucky. My kids enjoyed the Slugger Museum in Louisville and the Science Center. These are both in walking distance of each other. I think we spent two hours at each location. Mammoth Cave National Park may be of interest. You will want to book ahead your cave tour, while we had booked our tour ahead we saw people leaving that were unable to get a tour. While in the area of Mammoth Cave we also did a stop at the Corvette Museum.
