South Beach hotels - narrowed it down...

Hi everyone,

I am going to South Beach in early May for 5 night with my boyfriend, both in our mid 20s. We want to pay less than 200 a night - preferably a lot less! - and still get a clean nice hotel by the beach, close to all the action. I have been looking online and this is what I got:

Cardozo
Savoy
South Seas
Blue Moon
Marseilles
The Hotel (all-hotels.com says it's 1045 total for 5 nights!)
National (a strangely cheap deal - 965 total for 5 nights through precisionreservations.com - has anyone used that website before? Everything seems cheaper there, it's sort of suspicious.)

Thank you so much!

The Hotel would be first on my list the The National.

There is also a new hotel called Hotel Victor and it just opened and is the "buzz" around town. It is beautiful.
I would have to go with it or The Hotel.

We stayed at the South Seas for $125 in January. It was clean, had a nice pool area and was close to all the action. The National had an amazing pool area and a nice bar. If you can get a good deal there go for it!

I vote for The National. If you can, get a Cabana Room, overlooks the pool and has a balcony. It is a great hotel and even better pool. Restaurant is outstanding.

That is a bargain for the National. I stayed there in November and loved it. The pool area is gorgeous. And there are hammocks!

I have also stayed at South Seas. It wasn't bad, but the National is worth 3x the price.
