South Beach

I am planning a trip to South Beach and was looking for a fun and hip hotel. Any suggestions? Also, has anyone ever stayed at Townhouse? That is sorta what I am looking for but is it close enough to the shops & nightlife. Being near nightlife & shopping is very important to me. Any info would be great...Thanks!

it kind of depends on what your budget is...i love the Loews hotel. if i go back to south beach i hope to stay there, although it is expensive. it is in a great area - walk to nightlife and shopping

Yeah, that may be a little too expensive. What is the best area of South Beach to stay? Is 20th & Collin's too north? Or do I want to be further downtown?

I used to travel to South Beach alot. 20th and Collins isnt too far but Ocean Drive only extends to about 15th street. My favorite is the Delano but the Marlin is nice. Also the Park Central is reasonably priced and right on Ocean and 8th
