Some gorgeous viewing areas

I have been looking through this Utah section and I don't think anyone mentioned Gooseneck State Park overlook, and driving thru Valley of the Gods. I would definitely consider them if you are driving in those areas. Both are spectacular. Valley of the Gods is on the way to Natural Bridges. Does anyone know if there are tours offered of slot canyons in Utah or Arizona? Thank you.

The Valley of the Gods is down a dirt road. I usually don't mention it for that reason. I don't mention Gooseneck State Park because most people don't have enought time and there is so much more scenic areas in Utah to be had.

Utahtea & others -- Just wanted to mention, I had a rental car while driving thru Valley of the Gods and had absolutely no problem with the road. I would drive thru it again if I return.

The road through Valley of the Gods isn't bad but I wouldn't chance if it's raining or a change of rain and thunderstorms can roll in very fast in S. Utah.

The Valley of the Gods road can be a little washboardy, especially after a rain, but is usually fine for a rental car. As for Gooseneck State Park, it's a quick diversion where you can spend a half hour and get a good feel for the place or stop for a picnic. It's a good way to fortify yourself before you head up the Moki Dugway for a real thrill ride.
