I see that this forum is old, however, I was researching where it was that I was passing through this past summer when me and my family stopped for the night. We decided that since it was there, we would take my 4 year old daughter to the Casey Jones Museum. My dad is a huge train buff, so it was convenient that way too.

Anyway, my point was the FOOD!! We ate at the restaurant, which, yes, was outdated. However, I thought it was neat because it was so old looking. And the fried chicken I had was the best fried chicken I've had in my life. Ever. I plan to take my fiance in the future because it was so good. I sent him a video via cell phone of the spread and narrated how fantastic it was and sad that he was missing it.

If you are passing through, I would certainly recommend the stop in. Totally worth it!!

We didn't eat there, but we enjoyed the museum. Not the most fabulous place we've ever been, but worth a little time and money.

Ah - the NutTee. It was a great stop for the kids to get out of the car and stretch, but that was the only good part.
