single deck blackjack in Vegas??
I have heard there are still some places left that offer it. If anyone has been there recently and can let me know where they had it I would really appreciate it! Also, has anyone taken the Vegas trolley that runs up and down the strip and if so, where do you pick it up - are there numerous stops??
Thanks!

We played it at Fitzgerld's downtown, and I believe Binion's Horseshoe (if it has reopened) offered it as well. Look on www.cheapovegas.com at their casino ratings.
Better than the trolley is the CAT city bus. There is one that runs the length of the strip, to downtown, and back. You can catch it out on Las Vegas Blvd in front of the hotels. It is about $1.65 per person each ride, and it is MUCH quicker than the trolley!

Any of the places on the Strip that offer it will have it only at (relatively) high-stakes tables only.
Some of the places out of town (such as the JW Marriott) have single-deck tables at $10 most of the time; I didn't see any single-deck tables on the strip in December for less than $25 and I honestly don't specifically recall even seeing that.

A couple of months ago, the following places had single deck tables:
Flamingo - $10 min
Venetian - $25 min
Paris - $5 min (almost always full)
Statusphere - $5 min
Keep in mind that the minimum bets change during the day (and time of year).

We were at MGM last week and they had 2 tables with single deck. But as the other person said, they had some funky rules - i think it was no doubles after splits and the blackjack payout amt.
We did play single deck at Binion's last fall, but as of last week, it's still closed....
