Best Vegas Gambling Venues

Oh I know it's been posted here before, but I can't seem to find the summary of the local places that the locals go to get the best odds. Blackjack is my game and I know it doesn't vary a lot, but I'll have slots players with me who think the house makes a difference.

kstrueh,

For the "best odds" in BlackJack you need to play at casinos that offer single-deck BJ. IMHO the best place to play BJ is Binion's downtown. Not only do they offer single-deck there, but also many other variations such as face-up and face-down options (they also have several $1 minimum tables).

Since I don't play slots, I'm not sure how the slot machines are at Binion's. If your friends don't like them, however, there are plenty of other places close by for them to choose from.

I happen to be an avid BJ player and, invariably, after playing all the new casinos I end up back at Binion's.

Good luck,

Strive

We were in Las Vegas in mid-December, between the end of the Rodeo finals, and Christmas. It's supposed to be the worse dead period for the city all year. We noticed that the strip casinos, indeed, had very little table play. But Binions had action on virtually all tables. Fascinating....

Was in Vegas a month ago, and was playing single deck Blackjack at Hard Rock Cafe!

The best game in Vegas is at Fiesta. It has the lowest house edge because of some wacky 15:1 payout on the first hand of the deck. Binions has a great game. You want, single deck, double any, double after split, dealer stands on all 17, BJ pays 3:2, surrender - anything I fogot?? Generally, the best odds on all games will be in the outlying casinos (Henderson), then downtown, then off-strip (Rio, Orleans, etc), then strip.

Also, with slots, the general rule is lower cost=worse odds.

There's a site that gives all the current %'s on games, I posted the URL but apparently the mods took it down. What gives?!?!
