Silver Inn, Silverthorne??

Hi! Pls all you knowledgeable friends, is the Silver Inn, Silverthorne similar in quality to a Best Western (better or worse)?

Is it really 6 miles from Keystone?

Also, where are BEST Pancakes in Dillon and/or Summit County areawide?

Is there any "Best Of..." magazine on Internet for restaurants/cafes, etc. in comprising all Summit County plus Avon, Leadville, Minturn, etc.?

Have never heard of the Silver Inn. Pancakes try the Buttermilk Bakery on Main st in Frisco, or the Sunshine Cafe in Dillon. One of the better cheap places to stay is the New Summit Inn in Frisco, worth looking into.

Tks Coskier. How about the Park Meadows Lodge in Breck, how shabby is it (or not)?

There is a Best Western in Frisco - its just off the highway, about a mile from the center of town. Frisco is central to Keystone, Breck, A-Basin & Copper, 30 minutes to Vail. I don't know what its like, just drive by on the way to Silverthorne.

Never heard of the Silver Inn, but b/c I live in the area, never had to check out lodging there.

There is a Park Meadows Lodge in West Vail, but don't know of one in Breck. The "big" ski-in/ski-out property in Breck is Beaver Run. It has lodge rooms (hotel rms) and condos of varying quality (and price).
