Anyone stay at Roost Lodge near Vail, CO ?
This place is really affordable and doesn't seem to be far from Vail.
Wanted to get feedback of people who may have stayed here or they may recommend another place.
We want to ski Vail one day so staying near Vail the nite before and that nite is our plan and then we're going to ski Copper but stay either in Frisco or Dillon.

Basic motel type accomodations. Clean, close to the slopes with a shuttle into town. Because it is one of the cheapest places, in the Spring, they get a large Spring Break contingent.
There's a Holiday Inn just down the road, a little farther from the slopes, but with more amenities. Guessing similar in price. The Park Meadows Lodge has cheap studios - individually owned so the decor can vary quite a bit, but you can walk down the path to the Cascade Village lift and connect to the main mountain thru Lionshead.

Thumbs up to the roost--certainly a great West Vail location. A young crowd for sure, but not overly noisy. Small but clean rooms. Has a hot tub and a little continental breakfast--doughnuts and juice. If it's considerably cheaper than the holiday inn--go for it. Tough for one night to get a deal anywhere--Comfort Inn in Avon can be inexpensive too, but better for Beaver Creek skiing.
