sightseeing around sheboygan
My husband, our 10 y.o daughter and I will be in Sheboygan this June for a sports event. Have two free days. We are from the East coast, have been to Chicago but not anywhere else in mid-west. We are not really into fishing or hiking but like natural sights. Will be renting a car. Flying out of Milwaukee at the end. Any ideas for things to do/see?
Thanks

In Sheboygan, the Kohler Art Center is small, but often has interesting exhibits. The Sheboygan Indian Mound Park is also worth a look.
In Milwaukee, I'd recommend Discovery World, Pier Wisconsin, the Milwaukee Art Museum, and The Domes.
The major natural sight in this part of the state is Lake Michigan, and there are several parks along the shore.

One of my favorite Wisconsin parks is in Sheboygan. Visit Kohler-Andrae State Park while you're in town.

There is also the Northern Kettle Moraine area, a short drive
just west of Sheboygan which is part of the State Park system. A scenic drive with interesting stops, picnicing, hiking ect. Parnell Tower, Dundee Hill, Old Wade House and check out Elkart Lake.
